How to book an Amazon Bookstore in NC
The University of Central Florida bookstore at The University Center is not selling online books at all, according to a report by Fox Sports.
The college bookstore, located on Campus Drive, is currently listed on Amazon.com as a closed store, and it is not listed as a seller on the college’s website.
That means, when you visit the bookstore, you will not be able to purchase books or access other online features.
“We’re still working with Amazon on the platform for book sales, but we’re not sure yet if it will be available for us,” said Jessica Zuckerman, a senior communications associate at the college.
“For now, we’re hoping to keep the doors open for people to access the bookstore in the future.”
The store is closed for the holiday season, Zuckman said.
The University is currently working with Google to implement the new bookseller platform and Zuckermans office, which serves as a central hub for all college business and campus activities, said Zuckemans communications director, Kim Burchfield.
Amazon has been working on a new platform for college bookselling for some time.
Amazon launched its first-ever college bookstore on campus in the fall of 2018.
The company is also developing a platform for universities that could allow for a more seamless and more accessible way to purchase and deliver college books to students.
“Amazon is an amazing company with great ideas and a commitment to quality,” Zuckerts communications director said.
“Their focus on quality is what makes them so great.”
The new college bookstore is located at the intersection of Campus Drive and W. North Avenue, across from the campus parking garage.
It is listed as open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
