Clemson bookstore to open on May 8
Clemson is planning to open its first bookstore on May 15, the university announced on Wednesday.
The bookstore will be located at the University of South Carolina bookstore, which was recently demolished and replaced by a residential apartment building.
Clemson University is currently the only institution in the country that offers bookstores on campus.
“We know that Clemson is a big city and that we are a small campus.
We hope this bookstore will add a new element to our campus and create a vibrant community,” said DeAndre Brown, Clemson’s vice president of human resources.
The bookshop will offer a variety of titles, including books about Clemson’s history, sports, food, and the arts.
Clemson will also offer online and offline shopping.
The school also plans to open a digital library in the spring of 2019.
Clemson is located in the south-central part of the state, and is about a 40-minute drive from the university.
