MARDEL CHRISTIAN, Mich.
(AP) A bookstore owner in Michigan was arrested on Thursday after authorities say he allegedly bought a gun from a man he had been having sex on a Facebook dating app.
The Detroit News reports the man had purchased the gun after he was confronted by the man’s mother and told he needed to take it back.
The man’s attorney says he did not have the gun in his possession.
He was arrested in his home, the Detroit News reported.
He is in custody and charged with illegal possession of a weapon.
The Associated Press was not able to reach the owner of the store, but police said the store owner was also arrested.
